Inspired by the American cowboy culture, photographers/artists Clay “Flash” Corbisier and Adrienne “River” DeLiso established The Untamed Image (formerly 1881 Western Photography Co.) in the shadow of the rugged Teton Mountains of Jackson Hole Wyoming in 2007. http://www.theuntamedimage.com
Specializing in photographing the American western experience both traditional and contemporary, Flash & Adrienne (River) have photographed thousands of horses, cowboys, cowgirls and wildlife across the west from Texas to Wyoming and finally settling in Bozeman, MT. The Untamed Image has truly dedicated themselves to capturing the essence of life and the rural western experience.
The Untamed Image is the final combining of over 35 years of photography experience between husband and wife team Flash & River. The couple has specialized in Western & Equine images for the past 9 years and formerly went under the name “iHorse Photo Media” when working with professional level horse competitions. Now under one roof, the Untamed image offers full service photography including portraits, events, commercial and western & wildlife art. Flash & River’s photography has been published in many high-end print publications such as Midwest Magazine and Cowboys & Indians. The Untamed Image is currently based in Bozeman, MT. where Flash and Adrienne continue to pursue their passion of creating art of the iconic west.
